Family Outing To An Opening

Last night the Lawler-Mecca Crew ventured into the big city of Charlotte to support my fellow pottery pal Julie Wiggins who was having an opening with her mentor Suze Lindsay. It was a wonderful warm night for an opening they had a really good turn out. I enjoyed seeing some friends I hadn't in a while and the kids enjoyed looking around.

Yesterday I didn't get much done in the way of pottery because they kids where home and we are hosting Easter brunch this year so I'm busy trying to get the house cleaned before my family arrives. You never realize how far you've let thing go until its time to clean it all up. Feels like I'm climbing a mountain!

Tonight I plan to sneak away to my studio....
