Good lord I absolutely LOVE your pottery--those covered cups are AMAAAAAAAZINGLY cute.
I really like the covered pot. I think the decoration looks great. It is bold but not too much so.
you are on a roll- i use to make lids for mugs many years back. a favorite for tea drinkers.
there are so many things I haven't made and wonder if i will ever get to them. I sometimes think I should make them as soon as I think of it, but something always gets in the way. I heard on the news the other day that some folks in NYC are purposefully living without heat - not sure I can do that, I am too used to warm weather living here. Cups with a lid are good - the lids would keep my cat from dipping his paw in my coffee, Ha. The bold sprigs look great.
covered mugs look great... love the little pooh characters. they are really well done. i'm not sure if it's winnie that's lying on his back but i can tell the 1st one is piglet, and eeyore and owl. sofia was in the studio yesterday making tiles again. i love to be working and hear her humming away completely entranced with what she's doing.
Jim...you are good. Yes, I think Pooh is sleeping there. I just finished Owl's tree house for Aydan yesturday. You look like you have a lot of space in your studio for Sofia to mill around while you work. My space is so tiny I spend most of the time hoping nothing gets knocked over when the girls are with me in my studio. Some day...some day...I'll have that huge studio ( and everyone will be in college..oh well) Have a great day! Jen
i also have a hard time with the kids in my studio. it is SO small, they do love it up there, though. somehow, despite the teeny size, i manage to have a couch. when my daughter was sick last fall (a lot) and had to stay home from school, i propped her up on the couch with lots of movies. i was glad for it then!
i love the lidded mugs!
