Larkspur Party

The 13th annual Larkspur Party is next weekend. I know I've talked about how this is my favorite show to do every year because all my old friends from Cedar Creek and Raleigh are there with me. I am kind of the baby of the bunch and I always learn so much from everyone there and we have such a good time. Not to mention the art at the sale is great! If your interested in coming to show you can click on the word Larkspur and it will take you to the site so you can get directions.
Its 12:22 and I just finished loading my first glaze kiln for the show...wish me luck!

Is this the Jen Mecca featured in the pages of Ceramics Monthly? That was a fine looking piece! Way to go CM. BT

BT! Yes, there I am in CM and the same photo is in claytimes this month. The clay gods must be on my side for once..pretty exciting for little old me.
Boy I can not wait for some good laughs this weekend! I'm going to try and make it to the teapot opening if I can get all set-up early in the day at Frannies. Can't wait to chat! jenamec

Took a look at the Larkspur site and it is beautiful. What a great place to be to sell work. Hope all goes well with firing and the event. Congrats on the CM photo!

Mecca Lecca HI! On the whole Larkspur gardening/raven theme, I forsee a highly collected assortment of delicate whimsical garden themed finial topped utilitarian vessels for both home and garden. Ravens, bluebirds, frogs, dragonflies, fish, turtles, blah blah blah. Bluebirds atop the green glaze would look killer!
